Welcome to the HELLGREEN!
Announcing my next game, with a free demo available right now!
Greetings, fellow wizards, and welcome to the Tome of Oddz to all new magic subscribers! Great to see you here!
Today I want to share with you my upcoming new game: HELLGREEN!
It also has a free demo you can download right now!
Let’s delve in!
Time to get the mutated abominable cat out of the bag: I have a new game coming out and it’s called HELLGREEN!
In this solo-first TTRPG you will be playing as an Operative, sent to explore a cursed jungle Exclusion Zone known as “the Hellgreen”.
Once a beautiful and luscious place, this zone is now home to all sorts of anomalies, abominations, and singularities.
Even worse, the Hellgreen is expanding and nobody can figure out why.
Hellgreen is going to be a solo game that focuses on survival and exploration, inspired by videogames like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro Exodus, Fallout, and works set in the Vietnam War period. If you enjoy exploring post-apocalyptic environments, this game is for you!
Pre-launch page
The game is going to launch in crowdfunding very soon, and you can follow the pre-launch page here so you won’t miss the launch!
It also has a FREE DEMO you can try right now, absolutely for free!
Now, let’s talk about the game itself!
The game uses a modified version of the Songs and Sagas engine by Fari RPGs. I enjoy the fast and easy rules of S&S, and they adapted smoothly to a survival game conversion.
So what’s this Hellgreen about?
In Hellgreen you play as a trained soldier (an Operative) sent to complete missions and explore the Exclusion Zone situated in the fictitious country of Tanguan.
After a bloody war between a coalition of western countries and Tanguan, something awoke deep into the forest. The severity of anomalies and physics-defying events prompted a swift ceasefire, and the beginning of further investigations. A federation of nations named NANCo was formed, and started sending Operative to investigate the Exclusion Zone and retrieve precious singularities.
These object sport unnatural abilities, and have been known to affect the human body as well as their surroundings. It’s no surprise a thousand research institutes and corporations are dying to get their hands on them.
Playing as an Operative you will face both the horrors of the Zone and the horrors of the past Tanguan war, while looking to complete your mission and, why not, find something valuable to bring home.
The keyword however, is always the same: Survive.
You will be able to create an Operative and choose from 6 backgrounds, more than 10 weapons, and specialty equipment!
We will delve into the details of gameplay in future updates here on Tome of Oddz!
Where’s the demo?

See you in a week, Wizards!

Interesting! Are there any psychological hazards in Hellgreen?
I think this could be used to run a game based on Jacob’s Ladder. Have you ever seen that film?
